Virtual Fundraising

As we head into uncertain times, Beat’s support services are adapting so we can continue to be there for those that need us, including creating extra support groups; the Sanctuary and the Haven, that have both been set up in response to the Coronavirus. This support is only possible because of the fundraising and donations of our amazing supporters.

We understand that the changes happening because of coronavirus can feel quite unsettling, with many events, venues and activities being postponed or closed under government guidance. So we’ve put together some fundraising ideas that can combat the feelings of isolation and loneliness and provide a great and safe way to share your skills and raise vital funds so we can keep our services running at a time when they’re more vital than ever.

Our four main virtual event ideas mean you can fundraise and be part of activities that don’t require mass participation in one place. In the boxes below, we have explained what these events are and how you can hold one. If you have any questions, please get in contact with Community Fundraising Officers Emily and Lara by emailing fundraising@beateatingdisorders.org.uk.
