Are you (or someone you know) struggling to access the eating disorder support or treatment you need? It's not always clear what to do next, and we might be able to help.
Advocacy is about helping you understand the support that you are entitled to and making sure your voice is heard when you are seeking support or treatment. Advocacy can help you navigate services, challenge decisions, and ensure your needs are properly considered.
The following pages explain how you can self-advocate, as well as our advocacy support services. Both are designed to help you challenge decisions that may not have been made in line with clinical guidelines, and to support you in accessing the care, information, and treatment you are entitled to.
If you have any questions about our self-advocacy information or advocacy support services, please contact our Helpline, who will be happy to help and answer any questions you may have.
