How can I take part?

Our applications are now closed for our charity places. However, our applications are now open to apply to be on our reserves list! Send in your application by clicking the link below, and one of our Community Fundraising Officers will get back to you as soon as possible.

If you've purchased your own place in the Great North Run, we’d love for you to join Team Beat. There’s no minimum fundraising target; we simply ask that you raise as much as you can.

If you have personal experience of an eating disorder or current health issues, you should not take part in the Great North Run if doing so could put your health and wellbeing in jeopardy.
