Due to the programme content, design and the nature of the research and debates being presented, the event content may not be suitable for someone currently suffering and could be significantly triggering for some.
Speakers are sent guidelines prior to the conference around sensitive presentation. The event organisers (Beat) accepts no responsibility for the content of keynote, workshop or short paper sessions.
Event Participation
Beat have the right to remove participants from any virtual event if the participant’s behaviour is disruptive, discriminatory, abusive and/or negatively impacts the event experience for other participants.
We ask that participants do not use or reference triggering information whilst engaging with others during the event as others may find this triggering or upsetting.
Cancellation policy
The allocated spots cannot be transferred to others. If you intend to cancel, we kindly request that you provide us with ample advance notice. Notifying us if you are unable to attend is important, as it helps us manage our resources better and allows us to offer the spot to another attendee. When we're not informed of a no-show, it does have financial impact for us. Your understanding is greatly appreciated.
