Frequently asked questions
Airfields aren’t open yet due to coronavirus restrictions, can I still book?
Yes! You can pay your registration fee of £70 and book a date in the future, if due to the coronavirus airfields are still not open you can rebook to a later date before your jump is due to take place. But by starting your fundraising now, you can help make a difference to the lives of people affected by eating disorders right away and be ready once your skydive date is here.
What is the easiest way for me to start fundraising?
Set up a Just Giving page and personalise your page by sharing your story. All of the donations on your Just Giving page are automatically transferred to Beat, so you don’t have to worry! You can start sharing your page with friends and family and once you reach your fundraising target we will let Skyline know.
What will happen if I don’t reach my target by the date of my skydive?
If you’re worried that you won’t reach the minimum by your skydive contact the fundraising team at Beat who will be able to support you and give you some tips and ideas. Don’t worry! We’ll be able to support you with your fundraising and our supporters on average raise much more than the minimum target!
But you also have the option to postpone your skydive date with Skyline. You will need to contact Skyline to do this.
Can I pay the jump costs myself?
Yes. There is an option to pay your own jump costs and then there is no minimum fundraising target – just raise as much as you can. Contact Skyline before booking to find out the price of the skydive at your local airfield as the price will vary at different airfields across the country.
Is the £70 registration fee refundable?
No, the registration fee will secure your booking on a date of your choice and is not refundable. Please contact Skyline for full terms and conditions.
“Probably the scariest thing I have ever done. It represented freeing myself from my eating disorder, and having the courage to face tomorrow stronger and braver than before. I hope the money I've raised will help others fight their own battles.I recommend skydiving as an exhilarating and unforgettable challenge for anyone wanting to support a good cause and find their courage to soar.” Breanna, Beat skydiver 2017, raised £710
