In 2024, we launched our report, There’s No Place Like Home, making a series of recommendations focused on the provision of intensive community and day treatments within a continuum of care. We’ve been campaigning since then on a local and national level, and working alongside clinicians, decision makers, and people with lived experience to understand the current landscape.
Join us for a dynamic and collaborative day exploring the latest research, examples of different service models, what can be used to facilitate a continuum of care, and how we can address barriers. It will also be an opportunity to contribute to a toolkit we’re developing for areas looking to set up or improve an existing intensive service.
Through a mix of presentations, showcase, panel discussions, and interactive sessions, you’ll gain insight into innovative approaches, take away practical solutions, and meets others working in this area.
The event will:
Set the scene, with experts summarising the latest evidence, providing overviews of the policy context in each part of the UK and outlining key barriers and opportunities
Showcase different models through sessions from speakers providing services across the age range, focusing on how they addressed specific barriers
Offer opportunities for discussion through panel sessions, an interactive session, and the option to learn about different services through stalls
Hear from the experts, including clinicians and people with lived experience
Provide networking opportunities with peers and other professionals across the sector
