University is an exciting time but can also be a time of significant change and pressure. The university environment can mask symptoms of an eating disorder and make it harder for students to stay connected to treatment services and their support network.
Our CPD-accredited training is for anyone working closely with university students, to support you to identify and act upon the early signs of an eating disorder.
In this training you will:
✅ Understand how university could contribute to the development of an eating disorder
✅ Be able to confidently spot the signs of an eating disorder
✅ Learn how to approach a student you're worried about about and support them to get the help they need
✅ Earn CPD credits
There are the below dates for you to choose from and, best of all, Bridging the Gap is funded by the Scottish Government so is free to attend.
