Transformational Gifts
Partner with us to make a substantial difference to people’s lives
How you can transform the lives of people affected by eating disorders.
Our vision is of a world where eating disorders have been eradicated. Where lives and families are no longer torn apart by these preventable mental illnesses. And where people at risk get treatment before the illness takes hold. Today, we are seeking to partner with
ambitious donors who share our vision, and who are able to make the most significant gifts.
You can help to shape new projects to beat eating disorders, and support us to respond flexibly to where the need for our life-saving work is greatest. Your gifts will mean future generations have the support they need to beat this illness, before it robs them of their life. Our dedicated philanthropy team will work with you to reflect your priorities and where you most want to make a meaningful difference. We have also created a number of ways for you to have the biggest possible impact, tailored to your desired level of giving.
After supporting his daughter through an eating disorder, entrepreneur Nick wanted to help families facing similar challenges.
When my daughter fell ill, my wife and I had no idea what to do. We didn’t know how to support her or how to avoid making it worse. We were all permanently on edge and meal times became a battleground.
He joined forces with our clinicians to design a project to provide peer coaching for parents. His investment enabled us to pilot the project and demonstrate success to NHS Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs). Echo peer coaching is now available in a number of locations across the UK.
I looked at a variety of mental health charities when considering how best to ‘give something back’. Beat came across professionally and passionately, and as I got to know them I learnt that they really punch above their weight in terms of connections and impact. I’d encourage anyone to approach them with open minds and questions to see how your ideas can make an impact long into the future.
