The Edinburgh Marathon is fast, flat, and full of atmosphere, perfect for first-timers taking on an unforgettable challenge or seasoned runners simply looking to enjoy every mile of this incredible route.

By running for Beat, you’ll be helping transform the lives of people affected by eating disorders—and you won’t do it alone. From the moment you sign up to the finish-line celebration, our passionate, supportive team will be right there with you.

How can I take part?

If you have personal experience of an eating disorder or current health issues, you should not take part in the Edinburgh Half Marathon if doing so could put your health and wellbeing in jeopardy. Successful applicants who have had any experience of an eating disorder will be required to partake in our safeguarding process to ensure you are able to participate safely in the event.

I have my own place!

If you've purchased your own place in the Edinburgh Marathon, we’d love for you to join Team Beat. There’s no minimum fundraising target; we simply ask that you raise as much as you can.
