Together with dozens of eating disorder charities and experts, we've sent an urgent open letter to MPs about the Terminally Ill Adults (End of Life) Bill.
The Bill contains a dangerous "anorexia loophole" that could allow people with eating disorders to qualify for assisted death — not because their illness is truly terminal, but because their treatable condition has become life-threatening due to gaps in care. All attempts to close this loophole were rejected by the committee, despite strong support from clinicians and people with lived experience.
