Body changes throughout recovery

Accepting your new body can be a difficult aspect of recovery.

You may experience emotions such as guilt, anxiety and anger. We recognise how difficult these changes can be and have shared some tips below on navigating this process:

TIP - Try and think of your recovery body as your new home; it’s okay to feel uncomfortable at first, as getting used to your new home might take some time.
