Pathways to care for adults with ARFID in the United Kingdom

Why is this research happening?

Individuals with Avoidant Restrictive Food Intake Disorder (ARFID) are being underserved by the healthcare system in the U.K. because of the lack of research and clinical education available.

Through conducting a survey of adults with ARFID, the researchers aim to highlight the need for increased support for ARFID in the health care system.

Who is doing the research?

The research is being conducted by Jessica Harrington, a Trainee Clinical Psychologist at the University of Hertfordshire.
