Our Impact 2022-23

Last year, we saw what our amazing community is capable of. Every hour volunteered, every story shared, every penny donated makes a difference. As you take a look at last year's work, you’ll see how every step we take together, no matter how small, brings us closer to our goal: an end to the pain and suffering of eating disorders.

Our Impact 2021-22

At the end of another year dominated by coronavirus, Beat, and those we support, have faced enormous challenges — rising numbers of people with eating disorders, and an NHS stretched to breaking point. But thanks to our incredible community, we rose to the occasion. The strides we made over the last year, we made with you beside us.

Our Impact 2020-21

Thanks to your amazing support, we've been here for everyone who's struggled over the last year. We've seen demand for our Helpline increase from 3000 people in March 2020 to over 12000 just one year later.

Our Impact 2018-19

We helped over 28,000 people, 11,000 more than the year before. Our amazing volunteers helped by answering emails or by providing coaching for carers through our pioneering Echo programme.

Our Impact 2017-18

17,802 people supported by phone, email, message boards, social media, one-to-one webchat and online support groups.

Our Impact 2016-17

Our Helpline is now open 7 hours a day, 365 days a year, helping over four times more people.
