We know how hard this time of year can be. If you’re struggling, we’re here to help you get through it. We encourage you to use our support services, read our guidance, reach out to loved ones who can help you through – whatever it is that you need for the year ahead.
With the weather still gloomy and the dark still creeping in early, why not take the opportunity to make time for yourself? A pamper evening is a wonderful way to practice self-care and spend time with friends and family. Get in touch and we’ll send you a pamper pack so you can raise money for Beat’s vital services at the same time.
If face masks and meditation aren’t your kind of thing, we’ve seen people do all sorts of relaxed fundraisers you can take part in from your own home, including games nights, film nights, quizzes and more. Contact our fundraising team on email@example.com, or call 01603 753302.
Whether you choose to join Team Beat this year or not, make sure you have the support you need. Our Helpline services are open every day over Christmas and New Year from 4 – 8pm, with regular hours resuming from 2 January. You can also get support from others who’ve been through similar experiences in our peer support groups, running as usual over New Year. And if you have worries about this time of year, you can read our advice on coping at Christmas with an eating disorder.
