Online memory study in people with and without eating disorders

What is the purpose of the research?

We are interested in these peoples’ ability to think about personal or autobiographical events in the past and future, and how this relates to other cognitive processes.

Who can take part?

We are looking for research participants aged 18+ who are recovered from anorexia nervosa, have current anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, binge eating disorder or have never had an eating disorder.

What does the study involve?

The research is part of a PhD degree at King's College London and involves two online study days. You will complete some questionnaires before taking part in the study, and then two separate study days that take up to an hour each. These days will be scheduled to be 24 hours apart. Overall, taking part in this study will take approximately 2.5 hours. Once session two is completed, we will give £20 to each participant for their time in participating in the study.
