If you want to help others affected by eating disorders this year, there are loads of ways you can do that.
It costs £1,200 to run our support services every day. Without the support of people like you, we simply couldn’t be here for the people who need us most. Help ensure we are there for people now and always by setting up a regular donation or making a gift online.
Those who’ve helped someone else through recovery can volunteer on our Echo telephone peer coaching programme. Over a half-hour call each week, you’ll listen to and support someone currently caring for a person with an eating disorder, giving them a space to talk through the issues they’re facing and help them towards their own solutions. We’re particularly looking for those who have supported partners or siblings through an eating disorder.
You may want to get out in your community to help those affected by eating disorders this year. Last year saw some exciting steps forward on eating disorder treatment, and you can learn more, as well as seeing how you can get involved and make sure we keep pushing in the right direction, here.
