The Sandpiper group is a confidential, welcoming space for fathers supporting a child with an eating disorder. You’re invited to share experiences with others in similar situations and can attend as often as you like with no pressure to attend every time.
Sandpiper groups are facilitated by Beat staff, who help kick-start useful conversations and moderate in line with rules for online services. Groups have been designed to help fathers feel comfortable and able to take part in free-flowing peer support. Each group has an opening warm up, time for themed discussion, and time for free chat where you can share experiences, thoughts, successes and problems with others who relate to your situation.
The Sandpiper eating disorder support group for fathers runs on Tuesday from 7.00pm to 8.30pm.
