Virgin Money London Marathon 2020

Take on one of the world's most famous marathons for Beat and experience the incredible atmosphere as you run past the iconic sights of the capital including Cutty Sark, Tower Bridge, Big Ben and Buckingham Palace.

Did you get a place in the ballot?

If you're one of the lucky ones and have just secured a place through the ballot for the Virgin Money London Marathon, we'd love for you to join Team Beat. Your fundraising will help more people find hope for recovery.

And there's no minimum sponsorship - we simply ask you to raise as much as you can. All you need to do is email us at fundraising@beateatingdisorders.org.uk or call Lara on 01603 753335 to let us know about your own place and we can support you on your way.

Applying for a Beat charity place

Applications are closed for the 2020 Virgin Money London Marathon. However, applications for Edinburgh Marathon 2020 are now open and we have a special promotional offer of £37 if you register by 31st October 2019.

Why run for Beat?

Every year we help thousands of people across the country who are affected by eating disorders. This simply wouldn’t be possible without fundraisers like you choosing to take on the London Marathon – thank you!

We’ll be there to support you every step of the way including:

  • A Beat support pack with fundraising ideas and materials
  • A free Beat running top to wear on race day
  • A Facebook group where you can chat to other runners
  • Lots of materials, literature & information to help you right up to the big day
  • And amazing support from our Fundraising Team to help you reach your fundraising target

We'll also be there on the day to cheer you on with the crowds and to meet you at the finish line for some well-deserved refreshments and celebration.

How your fundraising will make a difference

Your fundraising will support our Helpline services so we can continue to be there for those who need us 365 days a year, giving sufferers hope for recovery.
