London Marathon 2019
The world's biggest one day fundraising event. Run for Beat and change the lives of people affected by eating disorders.
There are a few options for getting a place in this highly popular event. We recommend considering as many possibilities below as possible in order to increase your chances:
The public London Marathon ballot is now closed and results will be announced in October. If you are successful and choose to run for Beat, there is no minimum fundraising target.
We have filled our charity places for 2019. If you would like to be added to the waiting list please click 'Apply for a place'. Beat has extremely limited places which will be awarded based on application merit. We are particularly keen to choose applicants who have supported Beat previously and can demonstrate an ability to reach the minimum fundraising target. Please note we have specific criteria for people in treatment for eating disorders.
We ask successful charity place runners to raise a minimum of £2,500 and pay an entry fee of £50 upon being accepted.
We will respond to applications within four weeks.
Running club entry
Some running clubs have a handful of allocated entries, usually awarded to their members on a ballot basis.
Good for age
If you are an elite runner, you can apply via the marathon website between 1 and 10 August 2018.
Contact Andrea at Beat on firstname.lastname@example.org to be considered.
