Festive Arts and Crafts

Get crafty this Christmas and help us raise funds so that our Helplines can remain open 365 days a year including Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and Boxing Day.

Sell your creations and donate the proceeds to Beat while doing some self-care this winter!

Craft activities like making Christmas decorations, knitting hats and scarfs, sewing festive masks and making beautiful festive wall art can be a fantastic mindful activity that will help you to unwind, improve your mood and lower stress, as well as making incredibly thoughtful gifts for your loved ones. Give a donation alongside your homemade gift and use our gift tag.

Remember, some of the best ideas are the simplest!

Molly's crafting for Beat

June last year was a seriously difficult time in my life, dealing with illness and issues in the family, struggling with university work and not knowing what to eat, if anything.

While I was in hospital things began to get better and I was encouraged to do things that would help me to recover and come out of the other side a brighter, better version of myself. And although I still have my struggles, I’m getting there.

I began getting back to doing things that I used to love, painting, sewing and just general crafting. This is where my business, “Molly Bee” was born. Molly Bee is a place where my creativity thrives, I love making things and now it’s brilliant that other people get to enjoy my work as well!! One of the most important facts about my business is that a portion of each sale goes towards Beat.

Beat is a hugely important charity in my life and on some of my darkest they have given me support and guidance. They continue to support thousands of people each year in a similar situation to me. I hope that my donations will help Beat to continue their vital work.

The perfect way to make sure that you still get together with your friends and family virtually to hold your very own Crafternoon. Share hints and tips as you create and each person can donate for taking part.
