On Thursday 6 May, anyone over the age of 16 living in Scotland and Wales can vote to choose who will represent them locally and who will ultimately go on to form the Scottish Parliament and Welsh Parliament.
As healthcare is a devolved issue, which means that the Governments in Scotland and Wales determine health policy for the NHS in their own countries, these elections are a particularly important time for explaining why support for eating disorders is so crucial.
It’s important that whoever is elected hears from you, their constituents, and understands why it’s vital that people with eating disorders get help quickly. We’re asking you to contact your local candidates to call for their support in ensuring that eating disorders are identified early, and that people of all ages can get high quality treatment as soon as they need it.
