Elections for the Scottish and Welsh Parliaments have just taken place.
You may have contacted your local candidates, standing in the election, to let them know why it’s vital that people with eating disorders get help quickly. Now it’s time to get in touch with your newly elected MSPs (Scotland) and MSs (Wales).
MSPs and MSs will often decide on which areas they wish to prioritise, alongside their constituency work, shortly after being elected, so this is a great time to reach out to them to explain why support for eating disorders is so crucial.
We’re asking you to contact your MSPs and MSs to call for their support in ensuring that eating disorders are identified early, and that people of all ages can get high quality treatment as soon as they need it.
With just a few clicks you can send a letter to your local MSPs (Scotland) and MSs (Wales) in your area, showing that this issue matters to you and asking them to give their support.
We encourage you to personalise the letter, as your own story can create even more of an impact. You may even want to mention if you’ve contacted them during the election itself.
