Are you a parent caring for a child with an eating disorder?

Who can take part?

  • parent or guardian caring for a child with eating difficulties
  • parent or guardian caring for a child aged between 12-18 years old
  • parent or guardian who speak or understand sufficient English

What is the purpose of the study?

To understand parental experiences when caring for child with an Eating Disorder (ED). The emotional toll of caring for child with ED is not well understood making it challenging to provide adequate support and coping skills for parents. Therefore, in order to understand how best to support parents, we would like to undertake this study to better understand the wellbeing of parents caring for children with ED.

What does the study involve?

Completing anonymous online questionnaires about your experience in caring for a child with eating difficulties, which will take around 30 minutes to complete.
