Who can take part?

Young people aged between 13 and 29 years old who identify as female and South Asian, who are yet to access treatment for an eating disorder.

What is the purpose of the research?

The purpose of this research is to explore the role of ethnicity and culture in body dissatisfaction and body image. The study also will also explore how these types of difficulties (i.e. eating disorders and body dysmorphic disorder) could be prevented in the future.

What does the study involve?

The study involves attending either an online focus group or online interview to talk about your experiences of body image and reflect on how current interventions to prevent eating disorders can be more culturally inclusive
