Experiences of Parent's During Family Based Treatment for their Child’s Eating Disorder

You are eligible to take part if you are over 18, have a child aged 12-19 with a diagnosed or suspected eating disorder, and are currently engaged in FBT and have completed at least 3 sessions.

The purpose of this research is to gain a better understanding of how parents of children with an eating disorder, experience various parts of the Family Based Treatment (FBT) they have been offered to treat their child’s eating disorder and the impact this has on their wellbeing and other aspects of life.

You will be asked to take part in a 60-90 minute online interview with the lead researcher where you will be asked a number of questions about your views and experiences of Family Based Treatment for your child's eating disorder.
