Who can take part?

We want to design the virtual reality café with people from the following groups: 1. People who have experience of having any eating disorder and are aged 14-25 years old 2. People who have experience of being a parent or carer of someone with an eating disorder, and 3. People who work clinically with people with an eating disorder.

What is the purpose of the research?

To gather views from people with current/previous eating disorders, their parents and carers, and clinicians, to inform the design of a Virtual Reality café graded-exposure scenario, for use as part of the treatment of people with eating disorders.

What does the study involve?

The study involves taking part in a focus group or one to one interview (you can choose which you prefer) for about one hour, to discuss how to design a virtual reality café for use in the treatment of people with eating disorders who find it difficult going to and ordering food and drink in café settings.
