Edinburgh Marathon 2022
Take part in one of the UK's biggest marathons with Beat!
What is the Edinburgh Marathon?
After two years of the Edinburgh Marathon Festival being held as a virtual event, it is back!
This ever-growing festival of running is now a major event in the Scottish sporting calendar. Enjoy a fantastic all-encompassing route which takes in some of Edinburgh’s most iconic landmarks as well as offering picturesque views along the East Lothian coastline.
How can I take part?
Apply for a place today with Team Beat and be part of a movement to end the pain and suffering caused by eating disorders.
If you have personal experience of an eating disorder or current health issues, you should not take part in the Edinburgh Marathon if doing so could put your health and wellbeing in jeopardy. Applicants who have a pre-existing medical condition, may be required to provide a doctor’s certificate stating they have a suitable level of fitness to participate.
Please note: We ask anyone that wants to apply for a charity place to raise a minimum of £600 for Beat.
I already have a place in the Edinburgh Marathon 2022
If you have received your place through the Edinburgh Marathon Festival Ballot, we'd love for you to join Team Beat!
