Edinburgh Half Marathon 2022
Come and be part of Scotland's biggest running festival with Beat!
What is the Edinburgh Half Marathon?
After two years of the Edinburgh Marathon Festival being held as a virtual event, it is back!
Fast & flat, the Edinburgh Half Marathon follows the iconic and picturesque marathon course voted the fastest marathon in the UK by Runners World. This challenge is ideal as a first half marathon or if you are looking for a personal best.
An ever-growing festival of running and now a major event in the Scottish sporting calendar. Enjoy a fantastic all-encompassing route that captures historical Edinburgh city and views along the East Lothian coastline.
How can I take part?
Apply for a place today with Team Beat and be part of a movement to end the pain and suffering caused by eating disorders.
If you have personal experience of an eating disorder or current health issues, you should not take part in the Edinburgh Half Marathon if doing so could put your health and wellbeing in jeopardy. Applicants who have a pre-existing medical condition, may be required to provide a doctor’s certificate stating they have a suitable level of fitness to participate.
Please note: We ask anyone that wants to apply for a charity place to raise a minimum of £350 for Beat.
I already have a place in the 2022 Edinburgh Half
If you have received your place through the Edinburgh Marathon Festival website, we'd love for you to join Team Beat!
