Raising money in someone’s memory is a special way to celebrate their life while helping us to make sure no one has to face an eating disorder alone.
A tribute page is your own dedicated online space to remember your loved-one, celebrate their life and raise money for Beat in their memory. You can tell the story of the person you are remembering with words, photos and videos and explain why you are raising money in their memory. Friends and family visiting the page can add thoughts, stories, pictures and also donate in their memory.
A tribute fund is a lasting way to remember someone close to your heart.
If you’d like to make a donation in someone’s memory, there are several ways to donate to make it as easy as possible for you:
Donations collected at funeral, memorial or celebration of life services can help ensure Beat’s services are here people now and always. The collection can usually be arranged by the funeral directors or we can provide collection boxes for you to use.
To pay in proceeds from a collection made in memory, please send a cheque payable to ‘Beat’ to: Beat, 1 Chalk Hill House, 19 Rosary Road, Norwich, NR1 1SZ.
Taking part in a challenge event such as sporting event, trek or skydive is a wonderful way to pay tribute to your loved-one.
If sports or adrenaline activities aren’t for you, you may want to organise your own event such as a music night, sponsored walk or an afternoon tea for family and friends.
