The post holder will ensure that all Beat’s services, campaigns and communications are founded on good quality evidence and guided by service user experience and clinical expertise.

Beat has mutually supportive relationships with a wide range of leaders in the treatment of and research into eating disorders and the post holder will engage with many of these. In particular, s/he sits on Beat’s Clinical Advisory Group, which forms an important source of external information and guidance for the role, and plays a central role in Beat’s co-production activities, obtaining input and involvement from beneficiaries. 

S/he may also be asked to represent Beat from time to time on steering groups for specific research programmes on which Beat is a collaborating partner.
